Music plays a HUGE role in the exciting world of the under 5's and we are honoured to be able to provide rich and varied opportunities for musical explorations at this stage. We celebrate the unique child, delve way beyond the EYFS statutory framework, yet provide evidence and assessment to demonstrate it has been met.

We are proud to have earned an excellent reputation in providing high quality music education in early years settings.

Provision is completely tailored to each setting and age group; we can provide free-flow and more formal approaches. Here is some of what we offer.

  • SINGING - a wide range of songs from all over the world, past and present

  • LISTENING - developing children's appreciation for listening to music, responding freely and exploring emotions

  • MOVEMENT - at this and every stage, music and movement are inextricably linked - and fun!

  • MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS - explore and create with sound and texture, develop motor skills

  • MARK MAKING - help children to represent their musical ideas though mark making

  • MUSICAL GAMES - enjoy playing together, think critically and develop social skills

  • CREATIVITY - enable children to create their own music

  • PERFORMANCE - gain experience as a performer, awareness of an audience, develop self confidence

We recommend regular weekly sessions, making music a key part of your setting's culture. For extra-special events, browse our workshops.  You may like to book a staff INSET to give your staff the tools and confidence to deliver their own music sessions.

The format of EYFS music sessions varies greatly between settings, so please contact for a detailed quote. As a guide, our tuition starts at £18.75 per hour. We occasionally look to external sources of funding.
